The Hotel Himalaia Pas is a modern hotel set in the centre of Pas de la Casa, ten metres from the slopes of the Grand Valira ski area. The 98 guestrooms feature light, modern decor and light wood furnishings, and are equipped with satellite television, direct dial phones, minibars, safes and bathrooms with hair dryers.
After a day on the slopes, guests can relax with a beer or a cocktail in the Avalanche Pub and then hit the dance floor in the nightclub. The hotel also houses an indoor swimming pool, jetted spa and sauna, and offers a range of massage treatments. Those feeling energetic can work out in the fully equipped fitness centre, while more sedate activities, including snooker and table football, are available in the games room. In the Himalaia's Buffet restaurant, diners can choose from a buffet of more than 30 dishes, including Tibetan specialities, served in traditional Andorran surroundings. Guests wishing to catch up on e mails or surf the web can get online via complimentary internet access. Multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk can arrange babysitting and dry cleaning services and provide light meals via room service. The hotel offers storage facilities for ski equipment. Motorists will find parking facilities available on site (surcharge). The Grand Valira ski area offers 108 slopes 200 kilometres in total and 63 ski lifts. Barcelona Airport is 200 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 180 minutes.
Gala Dinners:
The hotel will host gala dinners on December 24 and December 31, 2007. All guests will be charged for the dinners whether or not they attend. Fees for the dinners will be collected by the hotel at check in.

The airport train station is a short walk from the terminals, via a covered walkway. There are train services from the airport to the city centre every 30 minutes. There is also an Aerobus service to Pla�a de Catalunya every 12 minutes. Taxis are available in front of the airport terminals.
