The Alexandra Plaza is a modern hotel in Riccione, known as the 'Green Pearl' of the Adriatic Sea, set in leafy gardens which lead down to a sandy beach. This five floor hotel features 60 air conditioned guestrooms. All have a modern Mediterranean style decor and extend to balconies, some overlooking the sea. Rooms include complimentary newspapers, minibars, satellite television, safes and hair dryers.
After enjoying a complimentary breakfast guests can stroll through the hotel gardens or have a coffee in the caf�. There is a heated outdoor pool with hydro massage and a separate pool for kids. There are two restaurants: one indoors, and one serving buffet dishes in the garden. The hotel has a varied programme of after dinner entertainment; guests looking for a night out can head for the American style bar or the disco tavern which plays dance and Latin music. Staff at the 24 hour front desk can advise on local sightseeing opportunities. Riccione town centre with its famous spas is two kilometres from the hotel and there are several theme parks nearby, including the Aquafan water park three kilometres away. Car enthusiasts will find the Santa Monica autodrome just four kilometres away, while for golfers there is an eighteen hole course ten kilometres from the hotel. Rimini Airport is eight kilometres away, approximately 30 minutes by car.
