Location. The Hotel Isola Bella is a Mediterranean style property with a white fa�ade, set on a hillside overlooking the picturesque Isola Bella Bay, 600 metres from the Greek Theatre and one kilometre from the centre of Taormina. Catania Fontanrossa Airport is 65 kilometres away, with an approximate driving of 45 minutes.
Hotel Features. Guests can start the day with a continental buffet breakfast and a cappuccino, either in the breakfast room or on the sea view terrace. The pool is situated at the foot of a green hillside and offers views of the beach, sea and bay below. The hotel bar is open 24 hours a day and serves refreshing drinks in Mediterranean surroundings. The bar area also features a complimentary high speed Internet point. Those arriving by car will find a garage parking on site.
Guestrooms. The Hotel Isola Bella offers 43 air conditioned guestrooms located on five floors, all of which have simple, modern decor with whitewashed walls and wooden floors and extend to balconies or terraces. Amenities include cable television, direct dial phones, minibars and bathrooms with shower/tub combinations.
Expert Tip. The tiny island of Isola Bella, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is situated just across the bay from the hotel and is accessible from the beach by a sandy path. There are guided tours of the flora and fauna on the island, and opportunities to snorkel off the coast.

Getting there. The best way to get from the airport is by private car or taxi. A taxi from the airport should cost approximately 100 EUR. An Airbus to Taormina train station departs every 20 minutes. Bus tickets can be bought at a booth just outside the terminal building, and must validated on board. The train station is two kilometres from the hotel and served by taxis.
Driving directions. From the airport, Follow signs for the A18 Highway toward Messina. Take the fifth exit, signposted Taormina, and follow signs for 'Mare' (beach). Once on the SS114 coast road, turn right towards Catania and continue for about 1.5 kilometres. The hotel is on the right hand side of the SS114, opposite the island (Isola Bella).
