The Hotel Residence Esplanade SRL is a 1930s style apart hotel, located centrally on the Viareggio esplanade, 12 kilometres from the Torre del Lago Puccini. The hotel's 14 guestrooms and 35 apartments have modern decor with light wood furnishings and balconies or terraces. All offer air conditioning, satellite television, high speed Internet access, desks, coffee tables, chairs and minibars.
The hotel's Ristorante da Luca serves a modern fusion of French and Italian cuisine including fish specialities, decorated with formal tableware and laminate wood flooring. Refreshments and alcoholic drinks are available at the bar, and the lounge has armchairs and sofas where guests can relax. Conferences and social functions can be held at the hotel, and there are two function rooms, which can accommodate 160 people, with audiovisual facilities available for presentations. The 24 hour front desk has multilingual staff that can assist with transport bookings and sightseeing advice, as well as the storage of valuables in the safe deposit box. Water sports such as sailing and windsurfing are available at the beach, which the hotel overlooks. Other attractions in the area include the Cave di Marmo at Carrara, 19 kilometres from the hotel. Pisa and its leaning tower are 25 kilometres away, and the famous renaissance city of Florence is 97 kilometres from the hotel. Pisa International Airport Galileo Galilei is 25 kilometres (16 miles) from the hotel.

The airport has its own train station with direct trains to Pisa central station, Florence, Lucca and beyond. The CPT number Three bus connects the airport with Pisa city centre. The nearest train station is 1.5 kilometres from the hotel. A typical taxi fare from the airport costs approximately 60 EUR.
Driving directions: from Pisa airport: From Pisa airport take the A12 motorway and exit at Viareggio Nord Quartiere Marco Polo. When you get to the Stop, turn right at Viale Marco Polo and continue until Piazza Puccini.
