Location. Overlooking the Gulf of Mexico is the family friendly Quality Hotel on the Beach in Clearwater Beach, Fla. Located two miles from Clearwater Marine Aquarium, the hotel is 13 miles from St. Petersburg Clearwater International Airport and 20 miles from Tampa International Airport.
Hotel Features. Promoting a nautical theme, the Quality Hotel on the Beach features a welcoming lobby with brown wicker furniture. Guests will find numerous diversions at the hotel, from swimming in the heated outdoor pool to relaxing under the shade of the colorful umbrellas that dot the expansive sun deck. The property's on site restaurant, a 24 hour International House of Pancakes, also offers room service. At Tropix, the open air tiki bar, guests can sip libations and enjoy Clearwater Beach's sunsets. Live reggae music is featured on the weekends.
Guestrooms. With a floral motif and blue and white color scheme, guestrooms at the Quality Hotel on the Beach retain an island inspired decor. Amenities include desks, coffeemakers, and balconies or patios with gulf or city views.
Expert Tip. The Clearwater Marine Aquarium is a non profit organization that rescues and rehabilitates marine mammals. Although many are released, others have become permanent residents of the aquarium. Guests can observe bottlenose dolphins, loggerhead sea turtles, river otters, stingrays, local fish and coral reefs.

Take SR 60 West toward Clearwater Beach.
At the beach, drive halfway around traffic circle.
Turn onto South Gulfview Boulevard.
The hotel is located on the right.
From St. Petersburg Clearwater International Airport (PIE):
Turn right on Roosevelt Blvd. and drive two miles.
Turn right on US 19 and drive about three miles.
Turn left on SR 60 (Gulf to Bay Blvd.), and drive six miles.
At the roundabout, exit to Coronado Drive.
Turn right on Hamden Drive, then left on S. Gulfview Blvd.
