Location. The Jurys Boston Hotel is located in Boston, Mass., two blocks from Copley Square and Trinity Church. The hotel is three blocks from subway transportation at Arlington T station. The downtown financial district is one mile away, and Fenway Park is two miles from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Jurys Boston Hotel is a $60 million renovation of Boston's historic limestone clad police headquarters, constructed in the 1920s. Sleek hardwood floors and stainless steel staircases are accented by the lobby's low energy chandeliers offering candle style lighting. The hotel's restaurant includes an outdoor plaza dining area. Dinner entrees at the restaurant feature chicken paillard, haddock n' chips and grilled salmon. Cuffs, an authentic Irish Pub serving lagers and spirits, features flat screen televisions and Boston Police Department artifactsThe hotel offers a complimentary fitness facility including treadmills, elliptical free weights and flat screen televisions. Taking a green initiative, the hotel has purchased Renewable Energy Credits and installed an energy efficient heating and cooling system. Other green measures include recycling programs, special training programs for employees and water preservation measures.
Guestrooms. All 220 guestrooms at the Jurys Boston Hotel include complimentary high speed Internet access and complimentary laptop compatible, in room safes. Bedding features pillowtop mattresses, Frette linens and down comforters. Bathrooms include marble vanities, heated towel racks, rain showerheads and curved shower rods. Complimentary Aveda toiletries and Mascioni bathrobes are provided. CD players, DVD players and 27 inch, flat screen televisions are provided. Refrigerators include complimentary bottled water. Room service is available for limited hours.
Expert Tip. Following the hotel's green initiative, the hotel has included an extensive vegetable and herb garden on site. The rooftop garden provides the chef at Stanhope Grille the freshest ingredients to use in his exhibition kitchen.
